The Orkney Islands have produced a remarkable number of talented writers through the years. This anthology gathers together material from a variety of sources, to give a flavour of Orkney and its writing.
Howie Firth has written, broadcast and lectured on Orkney and other subjects over the years. He is Director of Orkney Science Festival, and was Orkney Islands Councillor for Sanday and North Ronaldsay.
