Description
Ted Fresson was an adventurer and entrepreneur in a world that has now passed, and indeed was rapidly disappearing in his lifetime. His is a name that is still remembered in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. Monuments and artefacts that help perpetuate Fresson’s role in bringing air travel to numerous island communities are to be found at the likes of Inverness and Kirkwall airports, while the work of the Fresson Trust also seeks to keep his name alive while furthering interest in contemporary as well as historical aviation.
